I’m juggling 3 ideas for this week. Help me decide what you think would be more fun…
I like iced cream: No cards for the week
Golden Shower: All scoops earned during the week count as Lemon (initially)
Inflation’s a ****: Cards cost 5 scoops instead of four for the week

No cards would be terrible in you-know-where. Elsewhere it could actually be interesting. To get mins would require players to actually participate in all area of dom. The same effect could be achieved by disabling switcheroos and mins though (which IMO might be more interesting…Log in to see images!) That leaves us with only destruction cards to play though – we need more, different cards for such a thing to be workable.
Changing the price of cards – don’t know. Cards at 1 scoop was a failure IMO, but 2 or 3 scoops? Maybe. 5 or 6 – it’d be worth testing I guess.
Golden Shower would increase the worth of switcheroos, or make fave flava a more heated competition rather than the ‘consolation’ medal as it is at the moment. I can’t see much changing beyond that though. The only time players start building is towards the end of the dom week, so it’d be mostly irrelevant for most of the week. Worth choosing just for the name though Log in to see images!
How about a dom simulator (dom lite) where these ideas can be tested in a semi realistic setting (not quite sure how it would work – players get a bunch of scoops to spend how they want then a few minutes to play out the end of the ‘round’ which takes overall about an hour)? I’m not a fan of leaving zero options against klan vanilla, as the I like iced cream option does, but it would be really nice for the European players for a change.
Golden Showers is kind of the wacky fun option.
Inflation isn’t going to get enough votes, but would only have any sort of impact in the top 3 or 4 brackets anyway, so that is good.

No cards means:
Mins will go to the players who can earn chocolate scoops, as the rest are easy to rack up. Well OK, but medals for *just* chocolate scoops? I sure hope we’ve got a good forum idea. Without that, it’ll be medals for Incit Log in to see images!. And of course whoever has the highest buildr score will have medals in the bag.
Fave flava and total scoops will go to vanilla raiders. Outside the top bracket, a perfect solo vanilla raid, the top end of a pistachio loop and lemons will get the medals, or else a tie. Pretty much down to luck for vanilla and pistachio, and having DML trolls for lemons.
Absolutely no strategy, timing, coordination required, no need to be around at the end of the round. You can sleep rather than actually play the game. Absolutely no interaction with other players throughout the week.
