I can’t remember anymore…let me think.
When I got married to my first wife, I think it was a catholic church. Second wife was Lutheran I think. My third wife…hmmm…is there a church of “how to be a massive PMS bitch”? She definitely belonged to that one.
Actually she might have been mormon.
Guess I must be a Catholic though, because once you get married in one of their chuches, those fuckers never let go. I still get mail from the church of “My Sacred Lady of the we’re going to guilt you into to coming back to our fucking church if it kills us” Catholic Church. |

I was thrown into the Church of England (against my will, you don’t have much fucking choice when you are circumcised at 3 days old and then signed up). Now? I despise every form of organized religion – as far as I am concerned there is no difference to signing your kids into a religion or signing them into the Nazi Party or the KKK. Plymouth Rock shoulda landed on the fucking Pilgrims instead of vice-versa.

I’m basically an atheist, but I find that a lot of atheists are rather dogmatic and intolerant, so, when asked, I tend to say I’m an agnostic.
Grew up a moderate, mainline Christian. Sent my youth being a fundamentalist, evangelical, born-again type. After a few years of that, followed by a couple of years of doubt, realized I wasn’t any kind of Christian any more.

I don’t really consider myself a member of any particular religion per se, though I was essentially raised Christian. I mostly just kinda borrow what I feel works for me from all the different religions.
So I’m basically going to whatever the version of Hell is for every single one, I guess. |
