Not sure if this has already been posted, apologies if it has. I just read it in a magazine today.
”New York baseball team the Mets learned the hard way not to tangle with the internet when over five million web users voted for Rick Astley’s 1987 song ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ as the team’s new pre-game song.”
It goes on about how they were really confused but road-tested it at a game anyway and it received thunderous boos. That’s a pretty big rickroll.
Also, my friend had a wedding and we rickrolled it, I know heaps of people have done this but it was still p funny when we did. |
