As a fun test of the new polling feature in flamebate, here’s a simple poll. How much would you pay for Episode 2, knowing that it has:

– 20+ new forums

– Tons of new characters to interact with

– New items

– Totally new ways to play

– Much longer than episode one

– All characters attached to your account would gain entry

– This is a one time fee, not monthly or anything like that.

NOTE: The new level cap (and therefore character abilities) are free, hacker clbum is free (bumuming you have an account to play him on), job board is free, a new + big unannounced gameplay feature is free.

Also, the beginning hour (or more) of Episode 2 is free.

What isn’t free (and so, what you’re voting on) is: new stores, new forums, new characters and storyline.

The new stores are the biggest hurdle for a non-paying account to remain competitive with a paying one, since the paying one will have access to newer equipment.

Sadly I am in no position to be able to pay for Forumwarz. Hey, if I could, I’d be swimmin’ in BP.

Well considering that I CAN’T pay for it at the moment, I think I’ll just abstain from voting.

Well, me (along with a lot other people) donated at least 50 dollars to FW… would we still need to pay? :/

I’d pay 15 dollars at max, considering what I’ve donated in the past.

A small amount is reasonable. Consider what you would pay for a 2-hour movie. You are buying a lot of hours of entertainment here.

On the other hand, it would be nice if you could sell some sort of “Episode 2 starter pack” that comes bundled with a bunch of cheap BPs for people to spend on alts, contests, whatever…

Does voting in someone’s poll increase their Flamebate score even if you don’t post in the thread? I’d think not, but you never know…

It might also make paying the entrance fee more appealing to those who have already donated quite a bit, since at least they would benefit by getting BP’s at a discount.

I like this idea, but what if Episode 2 was 5 BP?

That would mean you’d have to buy 7 BP for $10, but you’d get 2 BP left over to do whatever you want.

Some of us have theorized that people might resent having to pay 10 bucks when they only want to pay for the entrance fee. Others would say you’re getting something of a bonus by having a remainder.

I voted that I’d pay up to $10, which is what I consider a reasonable fee.

But realistically I’d probably be willing to pay a little more. Log in to see images!
