Wiki: Double redirects

I noticed the Wiki allowed double redirects. I was wondering if there is a way to prevent circular redirects there. I haven’t played around with it myself to test it, as I was afraid I might break it, and get banned for ****ing around with the wiki, but thought this might need some looking in to. |

You know, if you don’t want people (Like iRAWR) ****ing with the wiki, DON’T POST THE PROBLEM IN A PUBLIC FORUM.
What you SHOULD have done is tubmail Evil Trout with the problem, so he could fix it quietly and discreetly.
But now look what you’ve done. Shame on you. Now the Best of IDC page is down. Because of you.

Reverting redirects is not really a issue, but really. Reverting these vandalisms iRAWR makes day and night sucks. |

Honestly I haven’t looked at the FW wiki much until I saw this thread, got curious. I only used it for getting through that text game. From what I can see it’s not MediaWiki so some of the capabilities are not there, unless the mods are just hiding/disabling them.
ED has a bot that automatically fixes double redirects, and does other things that don’t apply to this wiki. There’s a “Special Page” where all the double redirects are listed, and we used to go through and fix them manually. So yeah, you have to keep an eye out for it and then fix it all manual-like on this wiki afaik. |
