I think the problem has always been over-exaggerated and what is suggested boils down to letting certain people do whatever they want and others have stricter rules. It really isn’t a lack of role-play, it is a lack of quality role play. And really if someone quits at the first negative comment, then they don’t have the skills to role play.

Nah, negative comments aren’t a problem. It’s the content-less posts (shock images, off-topic randomness like kaisers/draginz, etc.) that are hard to respond to.
